Sustainable ball sports complex in an activity park
In a green zone surrounded by housing, an ageing athletics facility makes way for a new sports complex: a high-quality, sustainable ball sports centre at the heart of an activity park offering a broad range of sport and recreation.
The complex stands out for its clear layout, optimal orientation and energy-efficient, flexible use of materials: a base of brickwork, a glazed entrance with tall columns, and façades clad in timber that give the building a varied, natural character.
My contribution
- Initiating design studies and supporting the project leader in communication, presentations and vision
- Coordination with accessibility and fire-safety specialists, structural engineers and the contractor
- Leading the assembly and checking of the permit application
- Complete 2D drawings from concept to final design
- Parametric modelling and rendering in Vectorworks, Cinema 4D and Rhino
